Giuseppe Arcimboldo was born around 1527 and he died on the 11th of July in 1593.
He was an Italian painter, famously known for his creative portraits of heads made entirely out of objects. The objects would be so packed together that from a distance you could easily make out the portrait, and maybe wouldn't even notice the objects within it. The objects he used in his paintings consisted of fruits, vegetables, flowers and animals, Which is the reason he is on my artist research page. His artwork is very creative and it is definitely a unique style that most people would recognize. I am blown away by the perfection of his portraits, and it makes me wonder how he managed to align the objects so precisely. |
